  15. I don't know what it is made of and Revcon is out of business it is a 1983 tank I know that if I put the wrong stuff on it could make it worse I let the putty cure for just over an hour. Maybe I needed to let it cure longer although the instructions said that it cures in 1 hour I was thinking that if I reapply new putty let it cure longer. Then use silicone and screw a patch down over it and seal the patch. Or I could use an epoxy like mentioned above and seal it
  16. After fixing the shower I started checking out the rest of the bathroom. With the leak I couldn't turn water on. When I tested the toilet out it worked fine but i found a hole in my black water tank. it is close to the discharge fitting. Any ideas on how to fix. Plastic tank. I tried the like I used on the gas tank except the one for plastic it did not work.

  19. Hi Class of 2017 we are planning on going fulltime May of 2017. We started to plan for this in 2005 but the Great Ression hit and we lost everything and had to forget about it for a while. Now we figure we can afford to do it,and can't afford not to as we are geting older. My father-in-law gave us his Motor Home. It is a 1983 Revcon with only 20k on it. Ihave been cleaning and checking everything out. We will be taking a number of small trips after the first of the year. To make sure that everything works, and we have all the things we think we need and the things we forgot. After that our first stop is going to be the Vintage Trailer Rally at Pismo Beach in May. After that we hope not to look back and just keep going. We will do a lot of siteseeing and some workcamping and have FUN
  20. MnTom yes the valve looks like that one nut it is not the valve that is leaking but the plug on the bottom
  21. I have not been able to break any of them lose. As I mentioned it is mounted on a piece of plywood that is only attached on one side
  22. I did turn off the water. It had leaked all over the bathroom carpet ( I don't know why there is carpet in the bathroom ) anyway I want to take the mixer out and work on it on the bench. It is just mounted on a piece of plywood that is only connected on one side. My concern is the gray 3/8th gray pvc if it breaks where can i get more and the connectors. The people at the pluming supply store said that they don't use that stuff anymore. The plug is rusted in and when I try to back it out everything moves. I don't want to bend or break anything.
