For unknown reason it stated and continues to function ok. I suspect air may have entered the fuel line and after enough attempts to start it, it cleared itself. My best guess at this point. Thanks for all the suggestions.

My oil sensor Is mounted on top, I removed the lead metered it and tried starting it, same problem. Next I will check remote start switch and after that the temp sensor. Thanks for the input though.

Yes, tried oil pressure switch, checks ok, level ok just did oil change, getting ready to disconnect remote harness and then thermal switch.

My generator starts and runs fr a few seconds then shuts down, I have changed the oil and filters but it still does the same. I'm thinking it's the oil pressure switch and was wondering if it's possible to test my switch, it worked fine one day and started this the next any thoughts ???? John

Thanks for your input, got it running and believe it was air in the lines. I will inspect the fuel line for condition
