fpmtngal Posted January 9 Author Report Posted January 9 (edited) You are looking at my pickup truck, seen out the side window in my slide as I watched hail fall. There was a thread about how solar panels would do in hail, and I thought about posting this photo as being an example of what type of hail I’ve been through and the fact my roof panels weren’t damaged in this type of hail. I ended up deciding it didn’t really add much to the conversation, so didn’t post it, but was happy to know that I could. I use a photo hosting site for my pictures, this one is from an album I have on SmugMug. The photo is mine, I took it when I was boondocking in the Kaibab National Forest, near the Grand Canyon’s North Rim. Edit to add: As to how - since the photo is hosted on SmugMug and they allow direct linking, I chose a size that seemed appropriate to this forum and then went to the “other media” button - there’s an option to post a link. sandsys Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 I think your picture would add a lot to the hail thread. Linda Quote Blog: http://sandcastle.sandsys.org/ Former Rigs: Liesure Travel van, Winnebago View 24H, Winnebago Journey 34Y, Sportsmobile Sprinter conversion van
