CobraBlue
Hello! I have a 1996 36' Travel Supreme 5th wheel triple axle. It is an older unit so its weighs approximately 12k. I need it moved from South Georgia to Benson, AZ. Looking for someone that is not necessarily in the business of transport, but someone who is going that way and would like to make some extra money. Not in a rush to get it there, but certainly able to work on your schedule meaning you can take your time. I want it to get there in one piece. I will be following you there as I am moving there also. Let me know if you can help. Would like to get moved by the middle of September, if possible. Thanks for your time and hope we can work something out. 281-796-1490 and ask for Benjamin
Kirk W
Have you contacted any of the commercial companies that move RV and such? The catch for a volunteer would be the cost of insurance, on top of any of the many other issues. If you have not, I suggest that you try the commercial movers ASAP. Lou Schneider
Is that your truck in the photo? If so, are you looking for someone to drive it and the trailer or someone to use their own truck to tow the trailer? Hiring someone to move the trailer informally without the necessary DOT license, insurance, etc. is very risky and exposes them to heavy fines if caught. Moving across town is one thing, moving across the country passing through several states is an entirely different matter. Kirk W
It also occurs to me that tires could also be an issue since the trailer has been sitting for a time. How old the tires are and the condition could mean that all 6 should be replaced before starting on such a long trip over the highways. If a tire should blow out at highway speeds could do extensive damage to the trailer. Quote Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years......
