homelesshartshorns
I have a 2000 Suncruser. I have a low beam light not working but the high beams all work! I tried to replace the low beam light, but it also will not come on. Is there a fuse? Wrknrvr
Do you have a volt meter. I know I asked before. But I cannot remember. Probably not a fuse problem. With a dc volt meter you could test and see if there is power to the connector. There could just be a connector problem. That is the plug end that goes on the light it self. Testing will give us directions to go to fix the problem.
Kirk W
It does and you need to visit this link for a fuse chart. A fuse would take out at least 2 headlights, however. https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/vdirsnet/OwnerManual/Home/Content?variantid=6299&languageCode=en&countryCode=USA&Uid=G1963503&ProcUid=G1963504&userMarket=USA&div=f&vFilteringEnabled=False&buildtype=web Edited November 5, 2023 by Kirk W Quote Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... Wrknrvr
I am thinking since the other headlights work, the fuse should not be the problem. I would check for voltage at the connector first. I have a connector fit on the bulb and be tight. But possibly the low beam power wire connector is not making contact on the spade connector on the head light. Since the high beam is working, that power and ground is good. They normally use the same ground. So if there is power on the low beam pin, then it is apparently not making contact with the spade terminal. The female spade terminal in the plug connector could just need to be reshaped to make good contact.

Ray,IN
It should not have a fuse for just one headlight, it will be for both; but usually headlights have an auto-reset breaker in the U.S.A. homelesshartshorns
Thanks Guys, it turned out to be a miss placed fuse under the dash! I have no clue but it's working now.... Gail Stanford
Yes, there is a fuse for the low beam lights on the 2000 Suncruiser. It is located in the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side. The fuse is labeled "low beam" or "headlights". If the fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced. If the fuse is not blown, then the problem may be with the wiring or the relay.
