runaway parents Posted April 9 Report Share Posted April 9 So the other day I walked out to the end of the drive way. Looked over at the truck and noticed a new oil stain on the ground. Crawled under it and realized the oil pan plug was lose. Just got this thing serviced. Sombody at the truck shop has some explaining to do. Jaydrvr Posted April 9 Report Share Posted April 9 Many years ago that happened to a driver acquaintance of mine, but it fell out going down the road a few hundred miles later. He got a brand new Cat engine for his trouble. It's a good idea to actually eyeball them torquing the plug to avoid that possibility.
