lappir Posted January 15 Author Report Share Posted January 15 So, I'm sitting here looking through old footage and wonder why my truck is running in the video marked 2023. I certainly haven't started it. I clicked to the next video and it seemed like I was driving the truck (at least to me by the sound). I moved to the next video and I'm on my way to work ?driving the truck? Why? And how do I not remember this. Next shot is going into the garage at work (I now know I'm not in the truck, it won't fit the garage.) I didn't share the other views, but it was interesting that I thought since the truck was in the video and it sure sounded like it was running something was wrong with my camera or memory. Even though I knew I had not started the truck I was almost certain something fishy was up. It's not clickbait, but I guess you do have to click to see and hear. ARGO Posted January 16 Report Share Posted January 16 Speaking of cameras, trucks, etc but off topic. Here in MD we have speed cameras mounted in vehicles that sit on the side of the road, not cops. The clue is a porta-pot. When you see one, there may be one of these sitting just past it, if you know what to look for. They sit there for hours at a time taking photos, driver/sitter needs a break. No, the camera was mounted on the motorcycle windshield and I parked where the truck was in the photo. The purpose for posting is to identify we all can be misled by things seen not in person. I knew for a fact I had not driven the truck that day, but with the date stamp, the sight of the truck lead me to believe in something that was not true for more time than I like to admit.
