GlennWest
I have inverters coming. Will be ordering solar panels in near future. Do y'all see much damage with panels shipping? I can physically drive to Sulfur springs tx if need to. Would rather not but curious about what condition they will be on arrival. Being in an rv park I may not be able to inspect for damage. Star Dreamer
I ordered 8 panels from Renogy and one came in damaged. They shipped me out a new one right away after I sent them pictures of the damaged panel still in the box. That one arrived ok. Randyretired
I had 25 panels from Santan delivered. The pallet was beat up pretty bad and broken but the panels survived. Look the panels over carefully before accepting. My panels were delivered to a hub and I picked them up there. They loaded them on a trailer for me after I looked them over. Lou Schneider
When I bought my solar panels it was from a source in Las Vegas that had stacks and stacks of them, salvaged from a solar project that upgraded their panels. 200 watts for $40 each, cash and carry. I just drove there and stacked them in the bed of my pickup, with ratchet straps holding the stack together.
GlennWest
Ok. You guys convinced me to go get them. I will be at work when they would come in. No way to inspect package. Chad Heiser
I have received literally hundreds of solar panels shipped to my home. In all those shipments, I have only had two panels broken on arrival. I did not find the breakage in either instance until days after arrival when I opened the packages. In both circumstances, I called the manufacturer who shipped the panels to me (two different manufacturers) and received a replacement at no cost in a day or two.
