Hello from a distant land: Thailand

Not offering a rig swap, but if you are thinking about visiting Thailand in RV style, I can offer suggestions.

This is a very safe country for Western people to visit.

Not perfectly safe, but quite civilized and with many comfortable amenities.

There are no large RVs here (class A or C), but there are a few van conversions.

There are no full-hookup campgrounds, but there are government parks with tent camping sites.

“Car camping” is popular.

If you are interested in touring Thailand in that style, it is certainly possible.

I was a full-timer in the USA for 8 years.

But now I'm “off the road”, retired, and living in Thailand for nearly 20 years.

For any Escapees planning to visit this distant land, perhaps I can offer some help.
