GlennWest
My Teton has a trim that separates the lower metal from the fiberglass at bottom of side wall. It has lost it "stick". Without it you see the seam and silicon. It actually been shrinking. I really believe it has been replaced before and inferior trim put back one. Would like to remove it and would be interested if anyone here has and made it look acceptable. Kirk W
Could you clean it up well and put it back with the automotive double stick tape like they use for automobile trim nowadays? GlennWest
Yes. I can but it will still be short. There is about an inch gap at the ends now. Dutch_12078
You could replace the trim with aluminum track with a vinyl insert. The track could be attached with the automotive trim tape that Kirk suggested. https://www.amazon.com/Insert-White-Aluminum-Length-Pieces/dp/B081VTWBK3/ https://www.amazon.com/Insert-Molding-Camper-Travel-Trailer/dp/B077H1L4N4/ Quote Dutch 2001 GBM Landau 34' Class A F-53 Chassis, Triton V10, TST TPMS 2011 Toyota RAV4 4WD/Remco pump ReadyBrute Elite tow bar/brake system

Star Dreamer
13 hours ago, GlennWest said: That is interesting. Thanks. That trim and insert is what our manufacturer used on our trailer when it was built, except that it was black. After they screws the trim on, the coated the screws near the ends with sealer and also used a screw thru the insert at the ends to keep it from moving in the track.
