I want to keep my condo for investment, but also can't own a sticks-n-bricks home for my full timer loan. Any advice regarding creating a domicile address and possibly having an LLC for my Iowa condo? This is all very new for me and want to get it right. Thank you for your help and knowledge. One is a tax lawyer and a tax accountant to find out what will work for your specific situation. I do not think you can get acceptable legal advice on the forums. Is the issue having 2 loans at one time or some other problem? If the condo is paid for it should be just one more asset to make you a better risk. If it is a rule of the lender about all that you can do would be to find a different lender or possibly add the RV loan to the present loan on the condo. If you find some way to hide the ownership you would be taking a great risk by not disclosing that. Most lenders have the right to call the loan if they discover something false or not disclosed built right into the loan documents. It doesn't sound like a tax issue, but if it is, take Ken's advice.
