unimog1300 Posted April 22, 2022 Report Share Posted April 22, 2022 Truck has some wires that are rubbed thru the insulation it looks like so far. Drivers side towards the back end of the valve cover, said that's the engine harness. Have to fix that first then see if anything else shows up. The cycle repeats: go out and greet neighbors, head to the pavilion for a presentation or two, break for lunch, go back to absorb some more information, gather for happy hour and maybe a campfire. Just thinking about the great people we won't get to see is depressing. Just want to tell everybody we sure miss being there and making new friends but life goes on. So everybody there have a great time and enjoy every minute because life is really short. Life is so short you should eat the desert first!! Take advantage of every "Happy Hour" Anybody that heads to Va Beach area just know that we have a very empty slab that would welcome a real truck and 5er. With availability of spaces real tight let me know if you need one. Full hookups and a tour of the worlds largest Naval Base is part of the package!! 757 646 1686.is my cell #. Hopefully, someone took pictures and will post them. Rigs of note: 1999 Pete with a huge sleeper. Couple bought it new and it now has 3.2m miles. Very nice Freightliner with over 2m miles and a roll back bed hauling a full size Toyota pickup and kayaks, pulling a travel trailer. KW/Mountain Aire combo, painted to match. A little retro look and way cool factor. Hauling smart/motorcycle/kayaks on bed. Did see a video of a ride through the park. Some of the one's I wanted to see more of apparently didn't catch for videographers eye. I'll get there again some day.
