Atwood GC6AA-10E will not heat

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Escapee forums! We will do all that we are able to help.

Let's start with a copy of the Atwood service manual for that water heater. I really don't understand why the problem from the ECO as that should be directly interchangeable so you can easily check both sides of it with an ohm meter as it should be closed on both sides. The problem being the same regardless of heat source indicates that yours is a control problem that seems to be in the set point. When you say that you replaced the ECO, do you mean that you bought the pair and changed both or only the ECO half? So it works now?
