GlennWest Posted September 23, 2021 Report Share Posted September 23, 2021 I recently changed my phone to Visible. All went smooth. DW phone and 8808L kept working. All is good. Well last night DW phone quit and mifi also. That was around midnight so called Version today. Seems they tie autopay to the phone number and not the account. Bill didn't get paid. I explained what happened and basically we just set it on on wife's phone. So I was able to keep unlimited mifi. I was concerned and wife was hot. All good now and DW got more data on phone with same cost so maybe out of doghouse now. His phone is with Visible, her phone is with Verizon. Apparently the auto payment to Verizon got dropped during his switch to Visible from Verizon. Verizon owns Visible, but it operates as an MVNO the same as the third-party companies.
