Ranger Smith
It is impossible to give you that information. Some counties have a wheel tax and others don’t. Some have a lower tax rate than others. Best thing to do is call the county tax office where you are gonna set up your domicile and ask Quote Steve and Joy Amateur Radio Operator WZ1T . . . Pappy Yokum
Call Americas Mailbox in Box Elder, SD. Besides mail forwarding, they handle vehicle registrations - and are very helpful & knowledgeable folks! BTW - as I recall, the county where they are located does *not* charge wheel tax. . Danandfreda
It’s just as easy to do it yourself. It’s 2 pages of info that you fill out for registration half of which is for boats so you leave it blank. Same papers for cars, trucks and Rvs. Don’t pay someone to do it

My "experience" was exactly the opposite! Americas Mailbox provided outstanding service to/for me for several years - including my vehicle registrations. When they opened their campground, their (city) address changed from Rapid City to Box Elder. Suggestion: The OP just might give them (or "the others" ) a call - and make his own decision. . This changed last year and is now applied to all renewals.
