RV Air Conditioner Maintenance

Recommended Posts

I always cleaned and inspected my own A/C unit when full timing for seven years and just posted this in another thread that was about replacing a bad unit, not about required annual maintenance to keep them cooling efficiently. Unless you are a tech this does not include recharging the A/C or electrical work. I found it very safe and easy for me to do. Others may not want or be able to get up on the roof. If you have a doubt, hire it out1

This video takes you through it and in my opinion is one of the best i have seen.

It is 17 minutes on YouTube but very easy to follow. I am not recommending anyone do this without evaluating their ability to work on a wet slippery roof safely.
