Thank you’s.

When I was growing up, and dirt was new,  my mom started me in the habit of writing Thank You notes.  Nothing fancy, just a quick acknowledgement of a gift, gesture or service I had received. Even retired for 20 years I still keep a package of blank note cards and with the plethora of dollar  $ stores near by a variety of unique cards in my computer bag.  As technology advances I now include email or text options to say thank you.  I sent a thank you to a young man that maintains a website I use frequently and he told me he was pleasantly surprised and that I made his day.

As we ease “back to normal” I am sure you could “make a lot of days” without taking a lot of time by sending a thank you email/text to someone that has shown you kindness or assisted you today.
