DJW
Ok my wife likes to watch the Cardinal Baseball Games. She has the paid subscription MLB App on her Ipad. I bought her an OEM Apple HDMI adaptor so she could run a HDMI cable from her Ipad to one of our 60 inch Samsung Smart TV's and watch it on the big screen. She can watch you tube videos, movies using the method but MLB App will not transmit it via the HDMI to the big screen even though it is running live on the Ipad. What I am doing wrong? She has the screen recording function turned off on her Ipad as you are not allowed to record the MLB games. Is there a work around? Is there some other function I need to turn on or off on the Ipad? Chad Heiser
Some apps prevent the exporting of the video signal through the connection port on the iPad. I'm not sure if your wife is using an app or just watching via a browser as I do not have an MLB subscription so I am not familiar with how they broadcast their games. DJW
Chad I believe it is an App. She opens the MLB App which shows all the games that are playing at the time and selects the one she wants. You may be right and it is a MLB App issue not allowing the signal to be exported. Dennis
Vladimir
A couple of years ago I had the MLB app. You had to cast the broadcast to the TV. I used ChromeCast, but it did have issues. She should call MLB tech support. You can put the app on three devices. She could put it on a laptop, if the MLB app, allows it.

rynosback
I just bought an adapter, Apple Lightning to Digital AV HDMI Adapter for iPhone iPad MD826AM/A. I tested it out and it works. But some apps make is so your can’t watch it on anything but where the app is. Maybe you can get a Firestick and load the app on there? There are still some apps that won't allow the video to pass through it though.
