MURPH12
Can a permanent license plate valid in Indiana if I'm now an Indiana resident?
Kirk W
Welcome to the Escapee forums. If you are an Indiana resident, then that would be your domicile and the place that you get your license plates. Checking with the Indiana DMV site, they replace license plates every 7 years, but you still must renew your vehicle registrations every year. Will B.
If you're asking if you can keep Michigan plates on your car now that you're a resident of Indiana, the answer really is "no". Not if you own the vehicle, and certainly not if you don't have a permanent residence in Michigan still. Just change 'em out, do the work. Jinx & Wayne
I think you are asking whether you can keep your michigan plates as a resident of Indiana. Check out Indiana BMV website. I think you have 60 days to get a new license and re-register/re-title everything. gjhunter01
I transferred the fifth wheel title to our son's name that lives in Michigan and have used his permanent plate for the last 8 years. I figure he is going to inherit it anyway! Now if I could just get him to pay for this new water heater I ordered.
