Adriann Dalton
Hi I am relocating to FL (from TX) and need to find an RV park that will allow me to stay there for a couple of months with my 3 dogs. The end location I am going to be working in is Plantation, but the RV park doesn't need to be near there to start. I am looking to stay somewhere from May until about September (I think). Thanks, Adriann

sandsys
How big and what breeds are the dogs? That makes a difference some places. Adriann Dalton
Hi. I will be working remote for several months - so dogs will be with me in the RV. Regarding the question about type of dogs, they are all Weimarainers and, thank you for the referral website.

The breed is pretty gentle but at 55-85 lbs they may be bigger than many parks will allow. Not aggressive. But, they tend to be skinny, but tall.
Twotoes
FL peak season is winter. May to Sept is summer season so there may be plenty of empty sites during this time period that camp grounds will be willing to make exceptions to their rules regarding dogs. While I have never seen that breed on a forbidden list, many RV parks do have a maximum size of dog allowed and a limit on how many per RV. orca
We were in a park near Galveston when a class A pulled in. Once the set up i watched not one, but three Great Danes climbed out followed by a passle of of smaller dogs! Seems that nobody had a problem with them. We traveled with two Weimarainers (RIP CJ and ZOE) and despite some parks having a 25 lb rule we never ran into problems. whj469
I have seen that breed on not allowed list at RV parks. Regarding the summer in South Florida, I wouldn't want to be there in the summer. That is not much better then SE Texas. I go to the UP of MI for the entire summer, May thru September.
