How to tighten a plumbing fitting

Recommended Posts

Happy Easter everyone. My RV has developed a small leak at the water control panel. The valve on the right that attaches to the white tee needs to be tightened a few turns (slow drip of water coming from it), but I can’t get it to turn. I’m thinking I need to turn the whole brass fitting, but not sure how to get the other pieces loose. Does anyone know how I can tighten this?

Just a thought....make sure that the leak isn't coming from a crack in the white plastic tee. As already said replace with a brass tee. One good thing is that its out where you can actually work on it. My jobs are usually way back in where I can only use one hand to work with...if I'm that lucky.
