Casa Grande RV Park Feedback Needed

We are looking ahead to next winter already; we are planning to stay in Casa Grande from November through February 2022. This will be our first time staying in Arizona for 4 month. We have a daughter in Phoenix and a Son who is moving Tucson in June. We like the location of Casa Grande, kind of middle ground and yet not in their back yards. Looking for input theses parks. Can any of you give me personal feedback on your stay at any of these parks?

Sundance 1 RV Park and Resort

Sunscape RV and Resort

Casa Grande RV Park and Resort

Rover’s Roost (although this is a little too far out of town and smaller that we might like)

I only have experience with Rover's Roost. I like it--friendly people who tell good jokes at their gatherings.

They are all pretty sterile meaning lack of trees and landscaping, close sites and and lots of permanent Park Model trailers so best to zero in on activities that you want to do.  A 'heads up' also, some, not all, permanent folks sometimes act like they own the park and are not friendly.  Don't let that deter you.  You'll have plenty of renters, such as you, to mingle with.  Compare the web sites and use Google Maps Satellite View so you can zero in and see close up what they really look like. 

Personally, we love the Phoenix Maricopa Regional Parks and Lost Dutchman State Park but unfortunately, only allow 2-week stays.  That's where we stayed when visiting our daughter.  However, since they're spaced in different areas of huge Phoenix you could move every 2 weeks and explore each area.  For Tucson, Catalina State Park is great and a popular RV park is the Voyager, similar to the parks you mentioned in Casa Grande. 

With 4 months planned you could also move around the state and explore different areas.

We've stayed at Casa Grande RV Park and Resort. Many RVers, many of them being from Canada, stay for the 3 month season (Jan, Feb, March). The park has added a number of small "cottages" as you enter the park but the park is primarily set up for RVers (no park models yet). There are a few RVers that stay year round.  Roads are paved; sites on gravel.

Two pools, a spa, and some planned activities during non-Covid time.  A couple of pickleball courts. Frys Grocery store just down the street.  Some highway noise but not unbearable. We've only stayed at the park a week at a time but would recommend the park.

 We have and will be again this winter stayed at Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort. But thats not o your list I guess. We have only driven through a few of the ones you listed,,,,, still going to Palm Creek.

Well it is getting close to our stay at Sundance 1 RV Resort in Casa Grade AZ Looking forward to the Arizona winters.

Arrive during office hours. They don't like you coming in late. Made me stay that night in the boon docking area which, fortunately, worked for me.

We stayed there a couple of years ago. I enjoyed the park. Depending on the size of your rig, maneuvering can be tight in places. I’m sure I posted a review on there.

Just returned from spending 4 month and it was just fibulas. Will do November and December of 2022 and January and February 2023, if I could talk my wife into it I would do 5 month and stay through March, bus not to be so I will take 4.

Foothills West RV Resort

for several weeks, the first part of this year,  and really enjoyed this park.
