Twotoes
Wanting to check out the RGV area of TX and looking at campgrounds in the RGV near McAllen. There are sure a lot of them. Any recommendations? I have a 43 foot Class A DP all electric pulling a Jeep Wrangler and a Harley. Thanks in advance.
Kirk W
We used to like the Tropic Star, but it has probably been at least 15 years since we were last there.
Ray,IN
Jack Meyer owns some RV lots in Bentson Palms RV resort. PM Jack for more information. We drove through this resort in 2008, it is very very nice.

We drove through this resort in 2008, it is very very nice. Jack Mayer's lots are in Retama Village, not the Bentsen Palm Village RV Resort (that's next to Retama to the south). Two of Jack's lots are leased for sure, and I believe that the third one is, too. If you'd like to use Retama Village as the base for your search of the Valley but confirm with Jack that his lots are full, please feel free to contact me via private message. I may be able to help, depending on when you want to be here.

Ski
Can recommend Greengate Grove Palmview, TX. It's about two miles north of Retama Village. Some lots available for rent by the owners. We stayed their two years ago. Well kept park, friendly folks and reasonable rent. Check out their website. Al
Twotoes
Well with the weather being so cold in TX I have decided to stay in AZ for awhile, at least another month.
redcrzr
Palmdale in Los Fresnos & Winterhaven in Brownsville. We have wintered in both & they have sites that fit our HDT & our 45' Toy Hauler. We, too, are glad to be in AZ right now. Todd
