CO Congressman Introduces Bill Banning Gun Sales To Non-Residents

Recommended Posts

Restricting the purchase of all firearms to residents of a state will impact many living the fulltime lifestyle.  This restriction is already in place for handguns but this bill would expand the provision to all firearms.

In times of "Crisis" those in government have a tendency toward over zealousness to "protect" the citizens.  Politicians are  schooled in the art of reelection to "never let a crisis go to waste". Further in crisis mode citizens can be petrified in the chaos and rational decision making skills are stymied making way for others to make decisions for them only to experience regret after the crisis is averted and they regain their calm.

With the current cancel culture and censorship of social media ...discussion is good but contacting your representatives is better and can be done from the comfort and safety of your RV.  It all boils down to the number of voices heard for election or re-election, sharing these links below so others can share their opinions with their representatives is a way of taking action.

He is in the Denver Aurora area. They already limit handguns there.

Our reps here in the Colo Springs area have not done either.Colorado Springs is the home to two Air Force Bases, Peterson Air Force Base and Schriever Air Force Base, an Air Station, Cheyenne Mountain Complex, an Army fort, Fort Carson and the United States Air Force Academy.

Lots of military retirees like me who own guns.

Except now he introduced this in congress to limit all of us.

I wish this forum would restrict firearms discussions.  The always represent opinions and hearsay and not facts.

Right restrict free speech you are saying

On a forum there is no such thing as free speech.  Just like in my house, you say something I don't like, out you go.  I was Moderator and Administrator on an RV forum and we had 3 rules that were not to be broken.  No religion, no politics and no firearms were discussed.  They always wind up in a fight.

I agree Ken and we usually stuck to facts in the past. Hyperbole rules the day lately.

That's true, Constitutional rights for the most part only apply to government activities. But we like to pretend there is more or less free speech here. No threats or other such of course.  But how is defending a fundemental constitutional right hyperbole??

This is an informational forum for RVers by RVers to educate and share RV experiences.  As the original poster sharing an article stated: "Restricting the purchase of all firearms to residents of a state will impact many living the fulltime lifestyle."
He was contributing information that could be of use to many fulltime RVersAs with all topics in this forum they don't necessarily apply to all. If you can use the info thank the poster for their time and effort to inform; if they don't just delete from your email.

Ten rounds here max correct. I had to buy plugs for my external mags for some. Denver is like NYC in that their gun rules are much more strict than their surrounding areas.

The hyperbole was in general about the connected world today, not in this thread.

On that note, let's talk about erectile dysfunction or incontinence. Issues that probably affect more aging full time RVers than packing iron.
