Joe Spiker
Cool, reminds me of the Paccar test facility in Burlington, WA. While they don't build them there, they just do all the testing. They also generally have an Open House once a year, I believe in March. rickeieio
There's a guy who visits here occasionally who's familiar with that Paccar facility...... His name is Brian, but his friends call him Scrap. Joe Spiker
I've heard of that guy, haven't seen him around for a while though. He's probably a bit more familiar with the facility than I am though. All I've done is paint the Stripes on the 2 tracks they have there. Been given a tour now and again while we were there working. Very interesting place. Joe
Phil D
Unless they've changed their schedule, the open house day at the Paccar Technical Center used to be on a Saturday in mid-April, during the Tulip Festival in nearby LaConner. It's a fascinating place and well worth the time to tour, if anybody is ever in the area at that time. And yes it is well worth the time to attend. Learn something new every time I am over there. It is to bad that the general public can't see the Torture Track they run the trucks over. Makes my Kidney's hurt just thinking about it. LOL Joe

Parrformance
Other option is timing belts, might be able to source some timing belts on clearance at Rock Auto, 1/8th by 2 inch 48 - 60 inches long.
