SWharton
Has anyone driven Hwy 169 from Valley of Fire SP to I15 through Logandale? It is marked as Truck restricted but I believe it is marked this way since it goes through the SP. I could not find anything on Google about its viability for a Class A. Thanks. 2gypsies
It's a good, scenic, paved two-lane road and It's RVing country so many RVers use it. No big elevation changes - just ups and downs and curves. It's a short, less than 20-mile drive. Enjoy! packnrat
from google earth it just looks like a lonely stretch of road, there is no rime or reason for any state to restrict any roadway. but here in ca there are roads that are not restricted... but should be, do to the way the road is built. as unsafe for any commercial truck or trailer, even a class A or C motor home. some roads are not safe for the weight or size of a class A commercial truck. (states should replace any unsafe bridges). as for your rv, just enjoy, but watch out in some areas (not just on this road) for clearances.
