Please know that: Rand McNally's full website address is https://www.randmcnally.com Rand McNally does not have chat or a pop-up chat on the website at https://www.randmcnally.com Rand McNally does not sell map updates as a separate product — map updates are included with all newer model devices There are a number of fake websites using "Rand McNally" (and other brand names) that pop up and then disappear. These fake sites attempt to fool customers and secure credit card information Unfortunately, with the ongoing pandemic and uncertainty, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of social media and online scams. In fact, in a recent poll of members by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, 92% of respondents expect to see even more fraud during the next 12 months. If you have been scammed, it's advisable to contact your bank or credit card company and contest the charge.
