SKP099512 Posted September 28, 2020 Report Share Posted September 28, 2020 Interesting factoid: AT&T DirecTV does not like mobile RV accounts and prefers porn to Hallmark! Do you realize that if you live in an RV you can add porn to your DirecTV viewing but not Hallmark. You can add Playboy and Penthouse but not the Movies Extra Pack that includes Hallmark Drama and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. DirecTV says its because we have a mobile account. That’s funny because we’ve had a mobile account since Sept 2009. That was when we got a waiver for DNS (Distant Network Services) which you can only get if you live in an RV. We got the waiver reauthorized in 2019 so they knew we were still in an RV. We’ve had the Movies Extra Pack for years and it suddenly went away in August 2020 since they said we were now a mobile account. I spent many hours on the phone trying to add it back and it comes down to we can’t have the Movies Extra Pack with a mobile account. But I could have added Penthouse during the call. ATT DirecTV prefers porn to Hallmark and does not like mobile RV accounts!! I have never had any porn channels a wast of money. We've also had the movie pack now and then, and had a month or so for free earlier in the summer.
