solo318
If anyone has a 4700 low pro, I am in need of some front axle information. I would like the axle model number. (probably an I80s or sg) and I would like a few measurements. width of the leaf springs would be one. width of the u bolts would be another. I also need a measurement from the hub center line down to the top of the spring pad. Any information is well appreciated. I'm converting a crew cab utility truck into a usable tow vehicle. noteven
Hi Steve - scout around Navistar’s website for body builder data like this: some body builder data Quote "Are we there yet?" asked no motorcycle rider, ever.
solo318
I've already looked around. the axle information was not included in the upfitters info. and eaton and spicer don't show the stats for an old axle. but international shows a different part number. problem is they don't know what is different about the low pro axle . trimster
My LoPro leaf spring width is 3". O.C. width of the u-bolts is 3.5" I'll see if I can get some of the other things you requested. trimster
The casting marks on the axle is "080 TB 105". "Spicer made in the UK" The aprox. measurement from axle center to top of axle spring pad (as it sits in my driveway) is 3". Hope this is helpful.
