jcussen
Probably not in many MDT's now, but maybe someone knows about the DD MBE 900 engine put in some Freightliner box trucks back in the early/mid 2000's. The one I am looking at is in a Dynamax 26 footer. It was 6.4 liter in those days, now is 7.2. Any good or bad comments appreciated. Darryl&Rita
Limited usage, resulting in fewer trained mechanics and fewer parts houses carrying parts. Parts run a little higher than more common Cat or Cummins parts. Fuel mileage is comparable with other engines of the same era and size. TheCooks
It is found in a lot of ambulances and if you look in the forums on ExpeditionPortal.com you will get some info. One ambulance person OzRockRat on those forums has a vehicle with that engine.
