Floyd Gibbons
Hello, newby here. I will be looking to stay in Las Vegas NV for about 5 days , middle of May 2019 on my way to Reno for truck show. I have a 2003 Pete 379 pulling Grand Design fifth wheel toyhauler, overall length is 65' . Any recommendations for rv parks around Las Vegas, any information would be appreciated. Chad Heiser
I have stayed at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in the past and intend to be there again for a night or so early next month. It is a very large park that can fit any size rig and it is at the south end of the strip if that matters to you. I will say it is not exactly a budget type park. There are other places around Las Vegas, but this is the only one I have stayed in and am familiar with personally. I would recommend it if you don't mind resort type parks. 2009 Volvo 670 with dinette/workstation sleeper - Walter 2017 DRV Mobile Suite 40KSSB4 with factory mods, dealer mods and personal mods - now in the RV graveyard 2022 DRV Full House MX450 with customized floor plan 2018 Polaris RZR Turbo S (fits in the garage) 2016 Smart Car (fits in the garage or gets flat towed behind the DRV when the RZR is in the garage) My First Solar Install Thread My Second Solar Install Thread & Photos and Documents Related to the build My MX450's solar, battery and inverter system - my biggest system yet! chadheiser.com West Coast HDT Rally Website

dartmouth01
I have only stayed at the Main Street Casino RV Park and I have enjoyed my stays. I chose it originally because of location and cost. You can walk to Old Vegas easily, and the breakfast buffet at Main Street is pretty decent and cheap. It is nothing more than a parking lot but it has been safe during the times I've been there
aztex
Avoid Sams Town! I've heard tell of a couple trailer thefts. Not break ins but entire trailers lifted! Supposedly very weak security! YMMV Az Tex
billr
Oasis like chad said. Great huge pull thru sites. We stayed there with HDT rig 65’ no issue. Also stayed at Sams Town (now a KOA) and fit the large sites. ewacowboy
We attempted to stay at the Thousand Trails in Vegas.....not a good experience! If you don't mind driving to the strip, we suggest the Clark County Shooting Complex. We ended up staying at the Las Vegas RV Resort and found it nice but rather expensive. You can see our Clark County Shooting Complex video here. Carlos
You used to be able to park at South Pointe, not sure if you still can. It's off strip but close, a nice place, less..."overactive" than the main strip places. I like it.

ewacowboy
LOL!! Not at all.....we called the park to make sure we would fit since we'd heard that it was tight. I told the ranger station what we were driving and she said "oh, we've got one of those in here right now....no problem. If we can't get all your vehicles in one site we'll have you park the truck in overflow." So, we made reservations. When we arrived the girl at the ranger station said she'd take me around on her golf cart to see a couple of open sites and the manager showed up and promptly told us we wouldn't fit and overflow was not an option. He suggested we park the HDT "off-site". I wasn't about to park the truck on the Boulder Hwy unattended. If you've ever been to TT Vegas - it is tight....so we ended up making a U-turn inside the gate and left! Aggie79-82a
If you travel to the Boulder Hwy by Sam's Town, there are several RV parks. I stayed at the Sam's Town KOA for a little over six months. Plenty of room for a rig like yours. Safe and secure in my opinion. Easy access to the Strip if interested. Straight shot down Flamingo. Of course, the Clark County Shooting Range is closer the Road Kill BBQ (a triple D restaurant. 2019 Jayco 5th Wheel 28.5RSTS 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty 6.2L
