DJW
Ok I found the NVRD32.sys driver online for Windows XP Pro and I have downloaded the zipped file to the XP laptop unzipped it and it is now sitting on my desk top but I am not sure which file to drop it into. I tried Windows system but that did not work and it stilled showed up as not found. What file folder should I drag and drop the nvrd32.sys file into so that in the installation process it is found? Thanks Dennis

k4rs
I suspect that there are very few people who have Dell computers that use nvrd32.sys and almost zero who are still using Windows XP. Sorry I don't know the answer. Safe Travels...

DJW
I tired that and I tired putting it in all the sub-folders inside the windows folder. No Luck Dennis
k4rs
Many go in the C:\Windows\System32 folder, but it has been so long since I worked on an XP system that my memory is getting fuzzy. I am sure you are aware that there could be many versions of a .dll file and there is no guarantee the one you have will work with your system. I still think you would have better luck with a retail CD. Safe Travels...
