update on wire nut? ac

Ok, after repairing electrical yesterday, Dometic  brisk air heat pump worked. Today just hums. Went back up, connection repaired yesterday good. Fan turns free. Turned on an fan locks up. So I believe it pulled so much power burnt end off. Maybe not good connection and the extra pull was too much and it heated up. That unit is 3 to 4 years old. At 2 years had to replace fan. Locking up just like now. So it is, in my opinion a piece of junk. lol. Will be going back to work first of year and don't want an exspense project just now. Next will be my upgrade to mini split cassettes. Oh, it pulls 3530 watts at max heat which is highest pull.That is with 2 18k cassettes.
