billr
Had this same thing show up after 7 yrs from single and build. What was once very little play in steering box went to lots. So replaced box and re-allighned. It was the original unit and had served its duty Was night and day. The toe had also gone neutral. Forward 3 yrs later started to wonder again. Everything still tight and ok Rechecked alignment and needed an adjustment. Now like a sports car and holds straight. May not be your situation but thought I’d share. Shallow Draft
Mine also was like herding cats. Each thing that I have done has helped. previous owner (10 ponies) put on a very good steering stablizer Proper grease job helped, new shocks, new tires made a big difference and the latest was the valves on the front air bags. This truck finally steers like it should 2004 Volvo 630, Freedomline, Rear view camera, Max Brake, Jackalopee, 38 ft 4 horse LQ Platinum, 40ft Jayco Talon toy hauler Http:/www.flickr.com/photos/shallow_draft/ Https://flic.kr/p/fqhyAN You are not lost if you don't care where you are!!
