dan412
The furnace on our 2016 Montana 3820 FK fifth wheel makes rattle noise when the burner is on and furnace runs a long time even when the thermostat is turned down. We are in Milton Florida where its 25 degrees outside. But the furnace will run for hours without turning off even if it's 70 degrees inside and the thermostat is turned down to 65. 2011 Volvo D13 485/1750 Eaton 13 Speed 2016 Montana 3820FK
WeBeFulltimers
Make sure the fan is set to "auto" on your thermostat. Fulltiming since September 1, 2010 2012 Ford F-350 PSD SRW Lariat Crew Cab 2012 Montana 3585SA

The rattle noise is likely in the sheet metal of the furnace housing or the plate at the tack of the furnace where the ducts are attached. On many fifth wheels, you can access the back of the furnace by removing the divider panel at the back of the basement.
