HDT Rally Site update

Mark and Dale Bruss

Recommended Posts

I finally got around to posting the few photos we have from the 2017 National HDT Rally.  Of those, I have 15  that I cannot identify.  I would appreciate having names to go with those photos.

Sad we have so few photos of the biggest National HDT Rally yet.

Where are they posted?  I went to the National HDT site and found no posting.  I went to your website and found no posting.  Maybe I should try a different browser. ???

OOPS!  Found it.  Under Previous Rallies,  2017, Attendees.

And just out of curiosity, where is the group shot? The one on the 2017 page is an old one.

A combination of fading eyes and much lower resolution photos.

Waiting on the Truck Shoot photo.

Seven Unk's left and I could use some lastnames.

We would have had a lot more photos if everyone had waited at the end of the Truck Shoot for their photo to be taken.

Howdy All,

Just wondering, perhaps i missed the details if they were discussed while at the 2017 rally but why has the rally date been moved forward a week into October?

I have driven through snow the last three years to get to the rally when it was a week earlier and last year drove down Boseman Pass when it was covered in ice.  For some of us to come to the National we have to cross mountain ranges and deal with adverse weather, the later in the year the rally is held for some of us the more the risk of attending and or deciding not to attend.

Could this please be taken into consideration when setting future dates.  Thanks.

If you want to add our last name it's Dan & Sarah Heming.

UNK 13 is Jim & Teri Foley. We've become good friends with them since the rally. Jim's screen name is "Wizard" but he doesn't post much.

UNK 10 - This couple is from CA. Jim might know who they are because they were camped next to them. Also maybe Jack or Greg knows them because they had an HDT on order from RVH Lifestyles.

2 Unks and a last name for Karen and Tom left.

A hole in the system came when there wasn't a list of attendees to check against for 2017.  Maybe we can solve that.

Also, higher resolution photos which can be zoomed to read the names on ID tags, but there were a lot of non-tag photos.

Also, if anyone has posted photos of the Rally on web sites, please let me know of the links.

I mentioned the idea of a master list with an opt out feature for those with security concerns, or a delayed release, say after the event. Don't know if the idea went anywhere.
