freestoneangler
My StarCraft owners manual has no information on what lubricant to use. It is a rack/gear drive and it is bone dry. I'm thinking a very sparse coating of some wheel bearing grease would be appropriate? Do you periodically lubricate your screw or rack drive and, if so, with what? Darryl&Rita
Supposed to be dry on the Rack & Pinion, prevents road grime from sticking. Lube the bearings (or bushings) the rod goes through. jerryneal
I use Slide Out Dry Lub spray. It doesn't attract dirt once it dries. $17 from Amazon. justRich
This one was recommended by the Lance factory repair facility: CRC Power Lube I lube the gear rack (Schwintek) once a month. It does make a difference in how quieter the slide moves. Quote ~Rich

Dapperdan
I bought Blaster Dry Lube with Teflon at Menard’s. You should be using some kind of “dry” lube, grease will attract dirt and grime. Not good. Dan
