Called “The Big Easy”, New Orleans is one of the most fascinating cities in the United States; a melting pot of music, food and culture. New Orleans is rich in history and is known for the French Quarter, Jackson Square, the National WWII Museum and St. Louis Cathedral.

In the French Quarter, enjoy Bourbon Street’s decadent Beignets and Cajun coffee. Savor mixed drinks in the many restaurants and bars, and learn about the history of these unique cocktails and those who brought them to life.

Relax. Sip a glass of Southern sweet tea. Enjoy the rocking chairs and cool breezes on the porches of the South’s most beautiful historical plantations, once renowned for their rich crops of sugar cane and cotton.

Enjoy watching animals in their natural habitat? Take an amazing swamp boat excursion and learn all about the history of the Cajun Bayous and more, since the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain are nesting grounds for many different species of birds, alligators and various other animals that call the swamp home.

New Orleans has unique folklore, traditions and burial styles and, traveling through the city, you will see historical above ground caskets, known as Crypts.

Payment Options

When registering for any land HOP, you may pay half upon registering and make monthly payments. The balance is due 60 days prior to the event. Ask the HOP department about the payment option.

Note: Non-Escapees members are welcome to attend a land or cruise HOP. There will be a $50.00 charge for non-members. However, if you join Escapees, the $50.00 will be waived. To join the Escapees RV Club or ask about prices, please call toll-free: 888-757-2582.
