Nuke-E
Happened to notice this just a minute ago. Looks like about $80 cheaper than its previous low price, but about 40% claimed already. http://amzn.to/2mAqFWx 45' 2004 Showhauler -- VNL300, ISX, FreedomLine -- RVnerds.com -- where I've started to write about what I'm up to Headlight and Fog Light Upgrades http://deepspacelighting.com
CrazyCooter
I have one that I carry for a backup to the solar. Overall not impressed with the Yamaha line of generators due to the carburetor issues with both of mine even though fuel stabilizer was used and carbs were run dry for storage. Also takes the little 1000w forever to charge the batteries especially at high elevation. Ran mine for about 10 hours yesterday because I have yet to get the solar installed on this rig. 1999 Peterbilt 385 C12 430/1650 13spd 2006 Dodge 3500 DRW 4x4 2010 Hitchhiker Champagne 36 LKRSB
MsChrissi
We already have the Honda 1000 unit. None of these will last very long if you do not put Seafoam additive in the fuel, about an ounce per tank full. We have several things with small motors and they all get Seafoam. Some sit four months or so and are fine. I looked at the Yamaha reviews and for the price they look pretty good though not as quiet as the Honda. There are times that even the Honda makes more noise than I would like so I cannot imagine a higher level.
gjhunter01
Quote I have the Honda 3000EU and had it converted to LP. The down side is that it's hard to start, 6-8 pulls. The good side is LP fuel never goes bad and RV's already carry LP bottles. Greg
