Kiltedpig Posted February 7, 2017 Report Share Posted February 7, 2017 Will the 'normal' cleaner we use in the S&B (Clorox toilet bowl cleaner) be ok in the motorhome. The label doesn't say it is a problem for rubber like seals so wondering if anyone uses it or something else. Don't want to destroy the seals. LFDR3116 Posted February 7, 2017 Report Share Posted February 7, 2017 I use bleach to clean ours. Put in 1/4 c bleach, fill bowl with water so it's diluted some, and let it sit for awhile. Then scrub and rinse well. I have been doing it for 6 years full-time and no problems so far. I do this just before we are ready to dump so it doesn't sit in the tank or around seals. Some precaution, but we have a plastic type material for our toilet and it absorbs odors and will stain. Bleach keeps it looking and smelling nice the longest.
