El Paso, Texas bypass

We just last week discovered this route to avoid downtown El Paso traffic.

 

West to East: I-10 NM Exit 162 east to NM 404

 

South on NM 213 (turns into TX 3255/Martin Luther King)

 

Continue South on US 54

 

East on Loop 375 to Exit 44 I-10 East

 

 

East to West: I-10 Exit 34 to North Loop 375

 

North on US 54

 

Continue North on US 54 onto TX 3255 which changes to NM 213 at State Line

 

West on NM 404 to I 10

 

This adds a few miles but avoids most of the El Paso traffic and the steep grade of the Trans-Mountain road.

Thank goodness construction is done! East to west its been great but the other way was a mess at the bypass/I10 junction. This will make life easier either way.
