Mike2338
I am thinking of converting my 5thwheel and truck to these connectors. I have had issues with corrosionand connectivity with the common 7pin. Ezconnector.com Not cheap but look an improvement. Any opinions? Thanks M
Mark and Dale Bruss
They look enticing. But I have one serious consideration against them. If you switch to them, you are limited to what your truck can tow or what truck can tow your trailer. My choice was to carry a couple of spare plugs and receptacles and replace them on a regular basis. Standard is good.
Chad Heiser
The easy connectors are very nice. I finally got to see them up close when Roger Dickinson from the forum stopped by my place with his rig. I was very impressed. I plan to add them to my new trailer. I may even go to the 14 pin version of the connector to allow me to pass additional signals between my truck and trailer. As for Mark's concern about being limited on what you can tow and who can tow your trailer, ezconnector makes adapters to get back to the standard 7 pin and other connection types, so that is a non issue (as long as you buy the adapters too).
