GlennWest
I have a 3 year old lg front loader. It now washes, pumps water out and then makes a grinding sort of sound with no spin. Tub spins freely with hand. Any of you have a suggestion other than replacing it. MrSeas
Check the drive motor, drive belt, tension regulator, all should be accessible by removing front cover.

GlennWest
Wife mislead me. Water pump bad. It won't pump any water at all. She told me it discharged water. Sorry for the misinformation. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
Retiredin1993
I would not assume it is the water pump, it could be the control board. I have a Whirlpool and it would not work, reading post and watching U tube I found out the motor brushes could be dirty. Took them out and cleaned and all is good for now. All thought the brush on one side was way shorter than the other. Only thing that will fix this is replace the motor that cost way more than a complete new machine. GlennWest
Power is going to it. Makes a louder noise that it should. Just not pumping. Might need to find ohm specs and check it 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
