My understanding is Gregg already has the trucks converted to RV status prior to entering the states...... right? SD still does not "register" a converted HDT to RV as an RV correct? There have been issues of previously registered RVs being registered in states where an initial conversion was not allowed. Our registration fees were $394 for the truck and $216 for the trailer. Our current Cedar Creek is only 12K Lbs. After poking around I came across South Dakota EForm MV-315 (SOUTH DAKOTA DIVISION OF MOTOR VEHICLES AFFIDAVIT FOR TRUCK TRACTOR CONVERTED TO A MOTOR HOME). I am getting the form notarized and over to America's Mailbox this week, so we will see what this does for my Title/Registration. It is abbreviated as "Body - CONVERTE". The second is an image from the SD DMV website showing the full description of "Converted Motorhome".
