SIBERNUT
Wife wants roll up day/night shades IPO the ones we have, the ones on wires like an accordion. I'm OK w/that, we decided on Irving. But we have 2 large windows (48") and the rear expanse to cover. Shades are available, but I'm picturing these things flopping all over as we travel, side to side, etc. So is there a way to tie them down, or does everybody just travel with them rolled up? I should mention, the fold up ones were doing fine until the (red) wine bottle exploded while rig was stored............. 2000 Volvo 635 A/S, N-14 Cummins"The Phoenix"'03 KA 38KSWB http://s918.photobucket.com/user/sibernut/library/?sort=6&page=1Furkids- Sibe's CH. GeorgiaHybrid
As part of our moving checklist, both shades are rolled up at each window before travelling. 2023 Thor Magnitude XG32

Chris-n-Dennis
MDC shades. Two very small velcro tabs on the bottom of the window frame with matching hook part on the metal bottom of the shade. We have day and night shades and usually only keep the day shades down when travelling but both have the velcro. Whichever one is down, the other is rolled up. SIBERNUT
Tks, I was afraid that rolling them up was necessary. Wife likes the Irving better, I don't give a c**p. Just don't try hanging them in MY Volvo, OK ? I might try the Velcro thing, I'd get less push-back than the rubber tarp strap. 2000 Volvo 635 A/S, N-14 Cummins"The Phoenix"'03 KA 38KSWB http://s918.photobucket.com/user/sibernut/library/?sort=6&page=1Furkids- Sibe's CH.
