kb0zke
Have any of you full-timers SOLD a coach on rvtrader.com? If so, how did you handle the location of the coach? We're going to be working our way across Texas over the next couple of months, but we won't be in any one place for more than a few weeks. Al F
Just curious. What do you plan on doing if you sell the coach while you are living and traveling in it? Just unload all your stuff into a storage unit and let the new owner drive off in the rig? kb0zke
Close. We'd check into an extended-stay hotel while we shop for the replacement. We're going to go to a 34' Airstream TT, so I'm already looking for a truck to use. We can easily trade the Jeep for the truck, and Jo Ann can drive the truck separately from the Foretravel should we want to move. Kevin H
Foretravel MH to Airstream TT. What prompted you to make your change? BTW - I have not used rvtrader so cannot speak to that. The richest are not those who have the most, but those who need the least.
kb0zke
When we started our journey we thought we would be moving more, staying no more than a month in one place. Since then, though, things have changed and we're finding ourselves staying 2-6 months at a time. A towable is a better match for that. wildmandmc
At one time i had my unit on RV Trader. Got a few interested call's. But that was the extent of that. Nobody actually came to look at it. An also got a huge amount of Broker Calls. All came with Huge promises along with 20% fee. So hard to tell the real from the scammer calls. 2000 Itasca Horizon DP (Got Total During Irma). I would put an ad on Craigs List a week or two before you arrive at your next location. Be sure to state that you are downsizing. Also state that you will bring the coach to an area convenient to a serious buyer as long as it is within 50 or so miles of your location or when your are in-route to your next location. Not sure how to determine if they are serious buyer or not. Also create a website with all the great things about your coach. Here are links to two websites for RV's I sold: http://mymotorhome4sale.blogspot.com/ http://bf2005sale.blogspot.com/ Al & Sharon 2006 Winnebago Journey 36G 2020 Chevy Colorado Toad San Antonio, TX http://downtheroadaroundthebend.blogspot.com/
dewilso
I sold a class B on RVTrader. You will make a lot of new friends, and have plenty of opportunity to swap emails with folks wanting to give you twice your asking price, just to cover any "extra" expenses. Entertaining if you have time & enjoy useless conversation. Dave W. KE5GOH Stuck in the 70's --- In E. Texas
