Pat & Pete Posted December 5, 2016 Report Posted December 5, 2016 Disgusting and yes , very sad performance by those who where paid to provide . Not to mention the disgrace they showed for one that served . Goes around , comes around .
Five Wood Posted December 5, 2016 Report Posted December 5, 2016 In a civilian hospital environment, medical "professionals" have to meet certain minimum levels of competence in the care they give or they are sanctioned by the relevant medical boards. I would hope the VA would pursue these people that quit but I somehow doubt they will. They will probably end up being hired at a different VA hospital. If animals under a veterinarians care were found with maggots in a dressed wound, as this patient had, there would be more concern than will be shown to this man. bigjim Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 I believe I read somewhere this a "state" VA facility. Not that it makes a real difference but I like to bash the proper entity.
chiefneon Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Howdy! These people should be prosecuted, not just be aloud to resign.
