Daveh Posted November 26, 2016 Report Posted November 26, 2016 So I have been considering upgrading my stock Shurflo pump for some time and had remembered positive comments on the 3.5 and 5 gpm Aquatec pumps sold by rvwaterfilter.com. Anyway, I was doing price comparison on Amazon and was pretty shocked by some of the negative reviews. Anyone have any thoughts on this? https://www.amazon.com/Remco-55-AQUAJET-ARV-Aquajet-Water/dp/B004RCSLFS Dave and Lana Hasper
GeorgiaHybrid Posted November 26, 2016 Report Posted November 26, 2016 I have one if the 5.3 GPM pumps in my garage that will be sent back next week for repair. It will not shut off once the pressure builds so I'm pretty sure it has a bad pressure switch. Bought a second one to use while getting that one fixed and it leaked at the inlet side of the pump using factory fittings. I put an oversized O ring on that fitting and stopped the leak but it will go back as well once the first one is fixed and returned. Great pump and I like how they work and the volume they can put thru the lines but quality control seems to be slipping a bit. 2023 Thor Magnitude XG32
