lakejumper
The Winegard Carryout has a handle on it and I'm curious if it's okay to hold it by the handle with the unit hanging down sideways to transport it in and out of the RV for setting it up. I store it inside the trailer on the carpet to prevent bouncing when traveling. I've been doing this and realized that it may not be good for the unit. Any thoughts? lakejumper
I decided to contact Winegard and they said that it is okay to carry the unit by the handle and on its side as long as there is no power to it.
jayc103
I carry mine with the handle every time I set it up and when I take it down. I carry it in my underbelly storage on an old doggie blanket to cushion it.
chiefneon
Howdy! Personally I would not store my G2 to travel on it's side or hanging by its handle. I stored my previous automatic satellite on its side once. That's why I now have a G2. "Happy Trails" Chiefneon
