And thank you. The suggested way to contact the admins is to make a post here then use the report function to send them your comment or request. I did a report on your post so they will be aware of it. First rule of computer consulting: Sell a customer a Linux computer and you'll eat for a day. Looking back at the member roster here there are lots of folks that haven't been by in years. I have often wondered why we don't ever do a purge of the membership list... User cleanup touches a lot of areas that are normally inactive and can bring on problems better avoided unless one has time to deal with them. Kirk W Posted September 27, 2016 Report Share Posted September 27, 2016 There is a forum which I was once active on which sent me an email which stated that I had not signed into the forum for 5 years. It then informed me that if I wished to continue with the forum I should simply hit reply and if I did not wish to continue to just not reply and after 30 days of no response, my membership would be deleted. The entire thing appeared to be computer generated. Since I didn't respond, it later sent an email stating that my account had been deleted and should I wish to return I could open a new account at any time.
